This website is operated by an external hosting provider. When it is accessed, technically necessary data may be processed, particularly the IP address, time and destination of the request, referrer, browser type and operating system. This processing supports the secure and technically reliable provision of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your information to respond to your enquiry and any follow-up questions. Depending on the context, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Information is not disclosed without a legal basis.
4. Cookies, external analytics and profiling
GEONOVA does not use tracking cookies, external analytics or marketing services and does not create visitor profiles. This website has no contact form.
5. Anonymous usage statistics
To improve this website, we count page views and use of the aids provided. The statistics store only the calendar day, the public page or aid accessed, the page language and predefined actions such as opening an example or the first interaction with the interpolation aid. They contain no IP address, time of day, session or browser identifier, referrer, query parameters, input values or file contents. No cookies are set and no visitor profiles are created. Data is sent only to this website's server; technical connection data may be recorded separately in the server logs described in section 2. Aggregated daily figures are sent automatically through the local server mail service to Sekretariat@hylla.de. The underlying anonymous raw events are deleted after no more than 180 days. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to understand use of our content in aggregate form and improve the website.
6. 3D preview and interpolation learning aid
The library and model used for the 3D preview are loaded from this website. The learning aid for comparing interpolation methods processes input values solely in the browser. It does not upload project files, use persistent browser storage or transmit the selected values to GEONOVA.
7. DGGT example
The complete DGGT example is provided directly on this website; its program libraries and project data are loaded locally. With your explicit choice, the player can store display settings exclusively on your device. Without consent, settings are passed on only within the current visit. Opening the example does not connect to third-party servers.
8. Fonts and external content
No fonts, scripts or analytics services are loaded from external servers. The website uses local system fonts and locally supplied program files.
9. Retention
Communication data is kept only for as long as required to handle the enquiry, perform a contract or comply with statutory retention duties. The operator can influence the hosting provider's retention of technical logs only within the terms of the hosting contract.
10. Your rights
Within the scope of applicable law, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
11. Encryption
When this website is accessed via HTTPS, the transmission is encrypted.
